Hello and welcome! Anna Rushing is the founder of Anna’s Music Classroom!

This blog/website was created to help give resources on beginning basic principles and foundations to music, so that anyone of any age or time in their life can learn about music so they can go on their own musical journey’s.

Anna is very passionate about music and finding ways to bring people together. Music is one of the best ways to do so! ( and food). Lol

Anna has been surrounded by musicians her whole entire life and has been inspired by many! She likes to say that music is in her genes! Her grandmother has played piano since she was young and played for church most of her life. Anna has a grandfather that sang and played guitar by ear. He also played trumpet. A cousin who played in a the band at her school. Several singers in Anna’s family.

Anna was also inspired to play trumpet by her neighbor in the 5th grade and started to play trumpet in the school band. Over the years she switched to playing the French horn and never looked back! She plans to go back to music school and finish her music education degree and become a band director.

Anna plans to have Anna’s Music Classroom help her to go back to school in some way. While still also bringing great resources to her followers.

Anna has taught herself to play the flute, is learning to play saxophone, and plays trumpet and French Horn. She also has some background with guitar and piano.

You can find Anna enjoying time with her husband who she’s been married to for over 11 years now and their four children.

They have two dogs, three cats, and three Guinea pigs that keep them busy when not practicing or enjoying music.

Favorite list

Her favorite color is rainbow. 🌈 but if she has to choose it is light blue, yellow, or green.

Favorite drink is Unsweet ICED tea or Dr.Pepper

Favorite candy is Reese’s Fast Breaks

Favorite pets are Dogs and Guinea pigs!

Favorite Song Currently is Buy Me a Boat by Chris Janson. (I just think it’s catchy!) 😂
